Fire Safety Guard Services in Sector 63

Factories, warehouses and office blocks in Sector 63 store a lot of things that burn quickly: fabric, cartons, packaging material, chemicals and electrical equipment running long hours. A fire safety guard, sometimes called a fire squad or fire watch, is a security staff member whose main job is to stop a small problem from becoming a large fire.

Most of the work is preventive. Fire guards check extinguishers and hose reels on a daily round, make sure fire exits and staircases are not blocked with stock, watch electrical panels for overheating, and supervise hot work such as welding or cutting. If a fire does start, they raise the alarm, use the right extinguisher on a small blaze, call the fire service on 101 or the emergency number 112, and guide people out along the evacuation route. Many sites also use them to conduct mock drills so that staff know what to do.

A fire guard is not a substitute for a proper fire NOC, sprinklers, alarms or installed fire-fighting systems; the service works alongside them. The cost depends on the size of the site, the number of fire points to be checked, the number of shifts, and whether you need guards with formal fire-fighting training or a certified fire supervisor.

Before hiring, ask the agency what fire training its guards have received and when it was last refreshed. Ask to see a sample of the daily checklist and logbook they will maintain, and whether they will run periodic drills with your staff. Confirm the agency's PSARA licence and request guards who also know basic first aid.
