Pigeon Net Installation in Uttam Nagar

Pigeons are a constant problem in Uttam Nagar. Buildings stand close together, almost every flat has a balcony, window ledge or AC outdoor unit that birds can sit on, and the gaps between buildings and service ducts give them sheltered places to nest. The result is droppings on balconies and AC units, feathers and nesting material in ducts, and a cleaning job that never really ends. A properly fitted net is the simplest long-term fix.

Most installations in the area cover open balconies, windows, utility areas, ducts and shafts between buildings, and AC outdoor units. The usual material is a knotted nylon or HDPE net, available in transparent or coloured options; transparent nets are popular because they barely change how a balcony looks. For ledges, parapets and signboards where a net is not practical, installers often suggest anti-bird spikes instead.

The price is worked out mainly on the area to be covered, usually in square feet, and on how difficult the area is to reach. A ground-level balcony is quick to do, while a duct several floors up or an outer face of the building may need ropes or extra hands and costs more. The quality of the net and the fixing method, such as hooks drilled into the wall with a tensioned wire frame, also affect the final quote.

When you call installers, ask whether the net is UV-stabilised, because cheaper nets go brittle in the Delhi sun and tear within a season or two. Check that the mesh is small enough to stop pigeons, that the net will be fixed on all four sides without gaps, and what warranty is offered on the net and the fitting. It also helps to have the area cleaned and any old nests removed before the net goes up, so birds are not trapped inside.
