Aviation Training Institute in Janakpuri

Janakpuri is one of the more convenient places in Delhi to study for an aviation career. It sits in west Delhi, a short drive from Indira Gandhi International Airport, and is well connected by metro, which is why a number of aviation training institutes have set up in and around the area.

The courses on offer fall into a few groups. Cabin crew and air hostess training covers grooming, communication, in-flight service, safety and emergency procedures, and interview preparation. Airport ground staff and airline customer service courses cover check-in, boarding, baggage handling, ticketing and reservation systems. Some institutes also run ground classes for student pilots, covering the theory subjects that are part of the DGCA examination for a commercial pilot licence. Course length ranges from a few months for a certificate to a year or more for a diploma.

Fees depend on the type and length of the course, whether it carries a university or other affiliation, how much grooming, spoken English and personality development is included, and what kind of placement support is offered. Pilot ground classes are priced on a separate basis from cabin crew and ground staff courses.

Be realistic about what any institute can promise. Airlines run their own recruitment and set their own eligibility rules on age, height, education and medical fitness, so no institute can guarantee a job. Ask for placement records you can actually verify, such as the names of airlines where past students were selected and how recently. Check the trainers' own aviation background, ask whether the course includes mock interviews and practical sessions, and read the refund policy before paying. For pilot ground classes, confirm that the syllabus matches the current DGCA subjects and ask how students are tested before they appear for the exams.
