What Coaching Classes Cost in Delhi NCR
What parents actually pay for coaching in Delhi NCR, broken down by subject and level, with the questions to ask before you pay the first instalment.
Coaching fees in Delhi NCR vary more than most parents expect. Two institutes on the same street in Dwarka can quote figures that differ by a factor of three for what sounds like the same class. The difference is usually batch size, teacher experience and what the quoted fee leaves out.
The ranges below come from the price guides listed on this directory, collected from institutes across Delhi NCR. Treat them as the band you should expect a quote to fall inside, not as a fixed rate.

What moves the price
Batch size. This is the single biggest factor. A batch of 10 to 15 students costs two to three times what a 50-plus hall does, because the teacher's time is divided fewer ways. Ask for the actual current batch strength, not the cap.
Who teaches. Many institutes advertise a senior faculty name and then assign junior teachers to most batches. Ask which teacher takes your child's batch, and how long they have taught that subject.
Subjects included. A "full package" for class 11 science may mean Physics, Chemistry and Maths, or it may mean one subject with the others billed on top. Get the per-subject fee in writing.
Duration. A two-year JEE or NEET programme quoted as one figure is not comparable to a one-year crash course. Divide by the number of months before you compare.
Test series and material. Study material, test series, registration and exam fees are frequently outside the headline fee. In some cases they add 15 to 20 per cent.
Questions to ask before paying
- What is the current batch strength, and what is the maximum?
- Which teacher takes this batch, and for how many years have they taught the subject?
- Is the fee per subject, per year or for the whole programme?
- What is not included: material, test series, registration, exams?
- What is the refund policy if we leave after one month?
- Can we sit in on one class before deciding?
A good institute answers all six without hesitating. If a counsellor pushes you to pay a "today only" discount before you can ask them, treat that as the answer.
Paying in instalments
Most institutes in Delhi NCR accept two or three instalments across the year. Instalments almost never cost extra, but they do change the refund maths: if you leave in month four having paid instalment one, the institute may still claim the rest. Ask how a mid-year exit is settled before you sign.

Visit two or three institutes in person before you decide. Fees are negotiable more often than the printed sheet suggests, particularly for a sibling, a full-year payment, or a student joining mid-term.
